Partnerships
Open City Briefing considers collaborations that fit its focus on urban civic life and respect readers' ability to make up their own minds. Proposals are sent through the Contact page and are reviewed separately from editorial decisions.
Kinds of collaboration
Possible collaborations include clearly defined educational projects, commissioned explanatory material and relevant resources for readers interested in shared city life. A proposal should state its purpose, intended audience, proposed contribution and any support or payment involved. We do not accept arrangements that require favourable editorial coverage.
Partner placements
Relevant partner placements may appear across the publication, including recurring placements on more than one page. Each paid or partner-supported placement is labelled clearly where readers encounter it. Placement does not mean that Open City Briefing has independently verified or endorsed a partner's claims.
How to propose
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Explain the fit with our subject, the material or placement you have in mind, who would provide it and how it would be labelled. We may decline proposals that conflict with editorial independence or do not serve the publication's readers.
A city is made in common
Shared places and public choices shape how a city feels to live in. We look closely at the arrangements, language and everyday details behind them.
